These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AppMaking and its services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AppMaking is an AI-powered platform that takes your app description and generates a software specification, code, GitHub repository, and production deployment. The generated output is provided for your use subject to these Terms.

2. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use AppMaking. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AppMaking to:

• Build applications that are illegal, harmful, or violate others' rights
• Generate malware, spyware, or tools designed to harm users
• Circumvent, abuse, or overload our infrastructure
• Violate Anthropic's usage policies (which govern our AI model)
• Resell or redistribute the platform without authorization

4. Intellectual Property

You own the apps, code, and content generated on your behalf through AppMaking. We retain ownership of the AppMaking platform, its AI agents, and underlying infrastructure.

By submitting app descriptions, you grant us a limited license to process your input through our AI pipeline to deliver the service.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

AppMaking offers a free tier and paid subscription plans, plus optional one-time top-up packs. The current plans, prices, and what each includes are shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed via Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods. For more on refunds, see our Refund Policy.

6. Availability & Uptime

We strive to keep AppMaking available and operational, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service depends on third-party APIs (Anthropic, GitHub, Railway, Supabase) and may be affected by their availability.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE CODE AND APPS GENERATED BY OUR AI ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT GUARANTEE OF CORRECTNESS, SECURITY, OR SUITABILITY FOR ANY PURPOSE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AppMaking SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Your use of AppMaking and any generated output is also subject to our AI Disclaimer.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Third-Party Services & Data Processing

To deliver the service, AppMaking relies on the following third-party providers, and your use of the platform involves sharing certain data with them. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it is handled.

• AI generation (Anthropic): the app descriptions and chat messages you submit are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your specification, code, and assistant responses.
• Payments (Stripe): subscriptions and one-time top-up packs are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Data storage & authentication (Supabase): your account, app data, and generated content are stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL, and sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth.
• App deployment: when you choose to deploy a generated app, it is built and hosted on third-party infrastructure (such as our repository and hosting providers). You are responsible for your deployed app and its compliance with those providers' terms and with applicable law.

We may add, remove, or change providers as the service evolves, and will keep this section and our Privacy Policy reasonably current.
