About AppMaking

We help you turn an idea into a working app — without a dev team, and without writing a line of code.

Why we built it

Most people have an idea. Very few can build one.

Shipping software usually means hiring developers, learning to code, or stitching together a dozen tools — months of work before anything real exists. Good ideas stall there all the time.

AppMaking exists to close that gap. You describe what you want in plain English, and our AI generates the foundation of a real web app — the interface, the backend, and the database. What used to take a team and a budget now starts with a sentence.

How it works

From a sentence to a starting point.

Step 1

Describe your idea

Tell us what you want to build in plain language. A single sentence is enough to start — more detail gives you more to work with.

Step 2

AI builds the stack

Your description becomes a structured spec, and the AI generates the core of your app: frontend, backend, and database.

Step 3

Review and shape it

Read the generated code and refine it through an in-dashboard chat — keep iterating until it matches what you had in mind.

What you can build

Built for the apps businesses run on.

AppMaking is made for web apps — SaaS tools, dashboards, marketplaces, internal tools, client portals, and MVPs. If you can describe it clearly, our AI can give you a working starting point to build from.

Where we are

Honest about the stage we're at.

AppMaking is in public beta. It's genuinely usable today, and we're improving it constantly. Some pieces — like one-click deployment — are still on the way, and we'd rather say that plainly than overpromise.

We're an independent, early-stage product, building in the open and shipping improvements as we go.

Built on Claude

The engine behind the build.

AppMaking is powered by Claude, Anthropic's AI — the engine that reads your idea and generates the spec, the structure, and the code behind your app. We built our system around it because it's genuinely strong at understanding what you mean and writing real, structured code.
